We'd be doing more exploring, but all the good places are under guard now, and my mobility issues kind a put a damper on things. In my youth, though, I've been chased out of some interesting places (and sometimes 'escorted' out by the U.S. Marines).

That's how I learned all about Fort Trumbull, in New London Connecticut. It's a State Park now, but in the day it was the center of a Secret Navy Research Base. I was a Sergeant on the guard force and learned a lot about it.
