This was a dead part of a living cedar tree on top of a cliff. The position of the tree exposed it to the winds and these sculpted the tree over time into twists and turns and scoured away the bark in areas. The eventually died and aged. This is one such area. I was amazed by the grain and the area in the center hinted at a vagina and so I named this piece "Dryad" for the nymphs who lived within and were part of their tree and who use their sex to suck the life from mortal men.

Thank you very much. I am sorry to say that it seems as if my entire collection, other than the few pieces on my PowerBook are gone. HD crashed and the archived zip file no longer seems to exist on the backup server. I have a few more offerings to make but some of my finest work appears to be lost forever.
