Catching legendary pokemon such as Kyogre and Groudon are too easy in the games. This is probably what would happen if they are as legendary as people say they are...

Ah I was wondering when all these pics of these random Pokemon were gonna come together XD I didn't realise they were your dream team :D and good god the LEgendary Pokemon are that big? XD; Why cant Trainers just..cheat once in a while and get a Bazooka to battle those things? o_o;
Excellent comic art, bittenhard! I knew those characters you created were for something. Catching legendary pokomon like Groudon shouldn't be too easy to catch. Love their expressions in the second and final panels. Looks like those Poke ladies and master bit off more than they could chew.
Awesome poses, colors and expressions. One of your best works.

Hehe, that is good, and so true.
Great Mewtwo, Masterball.
Powerfull Lugia, Masterball.
skip the games I haven't played.
Dialga, Masterball.
Only ones that were truely hard, were the secondary Legends. Suicun, Raiku, Entie, Aticuno, Zapdos, Moltres. (sure some of those were miss spelled)

I blew it on catching Groudon and Kyorge my first run through Emerald so I restarted it since I could not find them after I unfortuantely KOed both. I at least got Raquayza. Also I managed to get all three Regi pokemon. Not easy. Fortuantely I was able to drag out the battles long enough for the Timer Balls I had stocked on to get really powerful. It took forever though without being able to inflict a status problem. Didn't have any with status changing attacks on pokemon that were strong enough.
The part about the 'legendary' pokemon is so true! Except for the one long stretched-out-dragon whatsisname, the legendaries @ least up to Pkmn Emerald were a joke. Level 50?! Give me a break! They ALL should've been so high leveled that you needed all the gym badges to make them obey; anything less is just retarded.
Oh yeah AND your art rocks more than a year's worth of Guitar Hero. Love the expressiveness in the middle panel, you did an awesome job giving everyone a "we is ####ed" face.

But but but
D;
Who wants Groudon anyways, there are much better legendaries out there
Besides, I could level that thing with a 2-foot rabbit just as easily (Azumarill w/ Huge Power & Choice Band, tied for 3rd highest possible base attack out of every existing Attack stat, puts Groudon to shame; stronger than Tyranitar, which is said to level entire mountains, so what could it do to Groudon, you think?)

I want Groudon, THAT'S who!
I don't think u realize this, but at Lv 75, Groudon possesses the moves Eruption, Earthquake, Fissure, and Solarbeam (Which it can use WITHOUT wasting a turn storing sunlight-- its Drought ability provides enough sunlight to attack instantly!). Against Solarbeam and Eruption at that level's attack power, most Water- and Grass-types are SCREWED!! Groudon would drop Azumarill in one hit! But perhaps most important of all, IT'S A MOTHERF**KING LEGENDARY!! YOU HAVE TO BE INSANE TO NOT WANT IT ADDED TO THE POKéDEX!!

*uses a full revive and a max elixir on leafbarrett's Arceus*
*restores leafbarrett's other Pokémon to full health*
*slaps a bag stocked with dozens of different Pokéballs into leafbarrett's hand*
*reloads game from save point*
Now get your ass BACK into that Cave of Origin and CATCH that giant son of a bitch!!

I prefer my Azumarill. So what if she's only 2 and a half feet tall, she puts a mountain-leveling pokemon (Tyranitar) to shame with her absurd Attack stat (Huge Power + Choice Band = tied for 3rd highest possible attack, PERIOD: somewhere around 650, if I recall correctly).
Just one wee tiny problem with that-- what do you plan on doing when:
A) Azumarill runs out of PP for the only move it can use with the Choice Band, or
B) When Groudon is weakened, but not weak enough to attempt to capture, and another attack from your choice band move is sure to KO it instead of just further weaken it?

That actually happened to my little sister vs Rayquaza. Her mons were SERIOUSLY underleveled (Lv 72 Swampert, around Lv 40 everything else) and advanced through the game with just basic type matching. Then she just gave up because she didn't have the patience to level grind.
