Regarding claws - often, when drawing commissions, I come across the fact that there are anatomical inaccuracies (or features?) on the references of characters. This character too, for example. In this case, I usually choose to follow the reference that the customer sent me, but perhaps I really should clarify such questions more often. I stopped doing this because every time I was faced with the answer "yes, my raptor really has 4 fingers!" :D
