I had... a bad day today. I started getting pain on the left side of my chest and it hurt a lot. I ended up with stabbing pains. I called the advice nurse and talked to a doctor and they recommended going to the ER to have it checked out. I had a full EKG work up, full labwork, 2 chest xrays, and constant heart monitoring, oxygen and all that. I ended up with like 15 of those damned EKG stickys all over me! Good news, my heart is fine. They think I probably injured the cartiledge between my upper ribs somehow. They gave me some pain killers and sent me home eventually. What a way to spend the day!
Followed by: I was getting the oil light coming on in my car, so I took it to the last place I had it serviced a few weeks ago. They didn't notice then but I guess I have a GIANT oil leak near the oil pan gasket or something like that. I took it to a mechanic and they tried to see exactly where it was coming from but the bottom of the car is just coated in oil. I am going in on friday to have it power washed and for them to run a dye test to see where the leak is. I was down 3 quarts of oils when I went back to the Jiffy Lube. Which is scary low!!!
I am tired and sore. I will be going back to work tomorrow. I am glad that I am okay,
I am mostly caught up on commissions, so I will likely be opening them to help default the cost of fixing my car. Oh dear!! Well, at least you're all right. The pain and soreness will subside eventually - everything will be fine. ^^ Did the doctors tell you anything to do that might help preventing this in the future?
And don't feel too bad about the oil - my truck burns and leaks so much oil, I put oil in like I put in gas - practically every other day. All you really need to do is check your oil once ever 5-7 days and top it off when needed, and you should be fine. Though if you really want to go ahead and get it fixed now, then by all means do it. ^^

3 qts in a few weeks? my car leaks faster than that... of course, my car isn't worth fixing, so I just feed it oil and lucas (and coolant, and transmission fluid...) x3

Spent the night prior propped on my left elbow reading a book then spent the way in an oven of a warehouse moving heavy boxes.
Symptoms, pain in left arm and shoulder, profuse sweating, shortness of breath, flushed complexion, dizzyness.
Diagnosis, mild heat stroke and a compressed nerve.
