Pencil fan art of Amber, a Golden Retriever character from a movie I haven't seen, as she might have appeared in the 1990s cartoon "Road Rovers."
She's Scooby-Doo's love interest in "Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders." I found out about her while watching a YouTube review of the movie and I knew I had to make a Road Rover out of her. SPOILERS for that movie...
...she's actually a reptilian alien disguised as an Earth dog. Here, she reveals the true form of one of her arms. In the screenshots from the movie, the alien form appears to be larger and more powerful, but has long, spindly limbs. Unsurprisingly, I made the alien arm super buff instead. Also, she must have really good balance to not topple over with that one huge arm. Or else the dog form is an illusion. I don't know how it worked in the movie.
Perhaps she joined the Space Rovers first and then transferred to the Earth Road Rovers.
HUNTER: "Nice to have you on the team. I'm 50% Golden Retriever, you know."
AMBER: "And I'm...TOTALLY 100% Golden Retriever! Yep, nothing but Golden Retriever over here!"
