Tried my hand at a background. And I think it turned out pretty good. <3 Still obviously need to work on my coloring. But I think I'm getting better.... Those of you that have been watching me for years I'm sure you all see the improvement. ^^
It's not the greatest, but I'm proud of it.
This is my character Anubis, from my roleplay with Megz.
It's set on another planet. Thus the tails.
IT's like a mix of Prince of Persia and assassin's creed, with our own twists to keep it interesting.
One of the twists is the Egyptian gods give up some magic to select people called, Ka's, Who are to keep peace on the planet as a mortal. They are typically found in clans having specific power of that god. And the less people of that clan there are the more powerful their magic is because it's not so spread out.
Anubis' whole clan was wiped out leaving him the only remaining Ka of his clan, and due to all his power, he glows normally a calm blue color, unless he activates his power then it turns gold.
Anubis, get's his power from the Egyptian god, Anubis, the God of embalming. His powers include but are not limited too, Animating a dead body or a sea of dead bodies on the battle field and using them against the enemy. Sucking the life out of someone through a single touch, Shaping ancient bones for use as weapons, and manipulating bandages to restrain his foes or incapacitate them.
He is because of his all this, one of the most powerful Ka's alive.
He lives in a secret assassin organization in a mountain oasis in the middle of the desert, as a city filled with other Assassins, that are employed through an outside source to take care of enemy men and women, Sort of like special forces here or the ninja's of Naruto. They can have jobs ranging from protecting certain people to eliminating big name leaders, depending on their rank as an assassin.
Anubis is one of the highest ranked sent out on usually the more dangerous missions.
