Oswald, his real name being Oswin Oswald Birdo, is a Birdosona from the Mario universe. Frequently partnered with Kyoshi Yoshi, both him and Kyoshi go on adventures most of the time outside the Mushroom Kingdom. Similar to Mario and Luigi, Oswald and Kyoshi are friends who consider themselves like the bros—and majority of their adventures are identical to the Mario and Luigi RPG series.

Unfortunately, most of their adventures start of with Kyoshi saying something really off the wall that gives them a reason to go on these journeys, despite Oswald not wanting to adventure all that much and wanting to stay home, he is always forced or dragged along these adventures against his own will.

Personality: He is friendly, although he is also easily tempered and annoyed.
Likes: Powerup items! Some of his favorite abilities that change his color and suit consists of the Fire Flower, Cat Bell, Ghost Mushroom, and the Cape Feather. He enjoys studying about the ideas of spiritual conduct with Boos, and sometimes practices on being empowered by such ghost magic.
Dislikes: Being called female, or a different species than he is. Also hates lava areas. Hates bad dreams. Really, really, really despises Wart from SMB2.
