i intentionally named them charasriel to steal and repurpose the ship name lol

this is a post-pacifist AU i made! to stay/become corporeal, chara and asriel fuse their souls into one being. like the buttercup plan, but its not a suicide mission this time. this fusion is 100% their own person. they're a mix of two people, but are not two consciousnesses like the buttercup fusion was. chara and asriel are still technically dead/gone, but they live on in spirit through charasriel.

Charasriel Dreemurr is a fusion of the royal children Chara and Asriel. They were created as a way for both children (who were dead or otherwise compromised at the time) to exist in a corporeal form.


THINGS THAT ARE STATIC; CANNOT BE SHAPESHIFTED:

Type of creature (boss monster, but a really fucked up one)
Scars (arm and torso scar stay)
Eye style (red sclera, white iris/pupil)
Fur color (grayscale palette)
Body structure (no noodle arms, etc)

THINGS THAT CAN BE SHAPESHIFTED, WITH LIMITATIONS:

Body proportions (length of tail, type of hands/paws, digi or plantigrade legs)
Fur length (the shortest it can be is about medium length)
General size (can’t be 50 feet or 2 inches, has to stay in a 5-13 feet range)
Body type (can be built skinnier, fatter, broader, narrower, etc, within reason)
Perceived age (can look younger/a little bit older)
Ears (stay accurate to species, but can be tweaked)

THINGS THAT CAN BE SHAPESHIFTED FREELY:

Markings (anything goes)
“Hair” length/style (you could just do it the normal way…)
Facial structure (muzzle length/size, eye shape, bone structure)
Horns (anything goes)
Clothes (they can wear regular clothes, but why not just manifest your own?)
WINGS. Very rarely

While they can shapeshift at will, many changes are additionally involuntary and dependent on emotional/mental state. (“I can decide to have different horns whenever I want, but sometimes they change on their own when I’m in a fucked up mental space”)
