Got some "follow me" eyes from 
hyokenseisou . She does fantastic work! They are not quite set in yet, but this is something of what they will look like.Normally, I'm quite adamant about making stuff myself, but for the price, it was just easier to order them.
The silicone work is coming along, and I found a great new product that helps a lot - silicone glue! It actually sticks to platinum silicone!
Next I have to finish the cable controls, jaw control, and drool tubes. Yes. It's going to drool.

I'm making the controls with bike cables out of a cheap kit from Walmart ($6 dollars -ish, if memory serves). The tubes will be silicone tygon tubing from the hardware store, often sold as fuel line for small engines. I'm not sure what I'm going to use to pump it, though - most likely a squeeze ball of some sort... "Probe" brand personal lubricant makes a nice slimy, stringy drool.
