important context for my understanding of dsmp characters is that my main source of dsmp content is actually the fanfiction series orphan’s path. i have little to no knowledge on how accurate orp characters are to dsmp canon and my only other source is what i overhear online/what my irl friends explain to me

at first i wrote down “half/eclipse/split” for his prefix, then thought of rain, like rainbow, like ranboo :]
“shadow” is pretty random BUT rain shadows are a real thing! nothing to do with ranboo but its fun when warrior names are the same as other compound words.
his design is also very basic, except i changed his red eye to copper. this was to be slightly more accurate to genetics/realism, but also, like, he’s a black and white cat split perfectly down the middle. it doesn’t matter. but i still like how the copper looks so i kept it.
rainshadow is another example of me making weirdos long and skinny, but at least i have him being an enderman as an excuse :P
