important context for my understanding of dsmp characters is that my main source of dsmp content is actually the fanfiction series orphan’s path. i have little to no knowledge on how accurate orp characters are to dsmp canon and my only other source is what i overhear online/what my irl friends explain to me

soot is basic, but its nice. ive already used the soot prefix for my own OCs, its just a fun word.
i considered giving him the song suffix, because i use “song” for cats who are influential and good with words. a great fit for him, but it felt basic and i didnt like how sootsong sounded. “fire” is a fun match to the word soot, and it works with his association with explosions!
he has similar speckled markings to crowtalon, and his muzzle is supposed to be the same shape, but his fur is from his mom. the freckles on his face are meant to differentiate him a little and to make his prefix more feasible; i like to think he’d be named sootkit for looking like he was stained with it. the eyeshadow is purely just to make him look pretty. i liked giving him a very desaturated underbelly color to make him look middle-aged. his colors are colorpicked from my own art, which is orphan’s path fanart lol.
i tend to focus on the tragedy of his character. he’s drawn standing tall with his head high, but there is no pride in his expression. he’s tired. his claws arent unsheathed in triumph or anger, and his tail is slack. there’s barely any emotion on his face at all.
