Wings of Time: Petrie the Rainwing

Okay next one on the drawing block is Petrie, originally I was going to make him a Skywing, because he’s a pterosaur so the whole sky thing, and his colours I felt suited SkyWings designs. But then I considered Petrie personality, him being very timid and nervous most of the time, while that would make him different from other Skywings, which isn’t necessary a bad thing. But my brain kept imagining him as a RainWing, and camouflaging himself when he was afraid, which I’m sure he’ll be glad to do considering the things he is going to face. Also if I am sticking to the Land Before Time Dinosaurs taking the original Dragonets of Destiny place, then I couldn’t have a Skywing in the mix anyway. (Or I could make it that Petrie is secretly a RainWing/SkyWing Hybrid…I’m almost tempted by this idea, because I just can’t imagine him using RainWing venom, so if he’s a hybrid that doesn’t have the venom like how Sunny doesn’t have a stinger that could still work story wise?)
