The massive kangaroo leapt into the air, her feet crashing to the ground with a thunderous thud that caused a small quake all around her.
The massive boom drowning out the sounds of the many unfortunate souls now trapped in her pouch. Their tiny bodies being tossed around in there, as they helplessly crashed into one another in the dark confines of it.
Not to far off in the distance, a ruined city barley stood. The result of the large roo's recent "grocery shopping trip." The survivors could only watch on and weep for the friends and loved ones they'd lost to this mighty beast now.
After a few more jumps, the giant roo had returned home
"Ah," she said "Who knew a little shopping could stir up such an appetite?"
The tiny ones in the pouch still alive from being knocked around in the pouch, then heard a mighty roar from one side. The kangaroo's stomach was growling
Just then, a blinding light shone from above. As the roo opened her pouch
"It's lunchtime!" she cried and she reached in to nab some prey
Her victims were too badly battered and bruised to try and fight back, or worse. They could only helplessly watch as one by one she plucked someone out of her pouch and tossed them into her mouth. She didn't care to even chew anyone. Just gulping them down
Soon enough, the once crowded pouch was reduced to a few lone victims
"I'll save you all for later, be good in there, he he," the roo smirked
As the last bit of light began to fade as she closed her pouch, the remaining prey saw in horror as those still alive in the roo were pushing and banging within her gut, frantically trying to get out. Yet it was no use, their fate was sealed. A fate that soon awaited those still in her pouch
