After learning a new SAI trick (thank you
suna!) I have been practicing with that program and developing my style with more saturated colors than I usually do. The BG was tricky, and originally desaturated which I felt was a little boring for the picture. I worked more with it here than the characters unfortunately. Fun little experiment nonetheless, and I particularly liked how the characters turned out ^_^
