Mammoth Noa (Manmosu Noa) was the 22nd Dark Horror Kaiju in the Roster, appearing as the Monster of the week in the 18th Episode of the Dino Mech Gaiking Anime, "Spaceship Noah's Ark".

_Appearance and Abilities_
Mammoth Noa resemble a gigantic Mammoth; Green in color with light Green fur on the back of its legs and top of the head, with a Dark Green Underbelly; it sport purple colored blade like tusks and possess red eyes surrounded by blue and yellow eyelids. Its arsenal included a stream of wind spread from the trunk, as well an Electrical Discharge and shoot red laser beams from its eyes. Besides this, it used its Massive size and had great strength for direct combat, however, its internal systems were weak to Gaiking's Saur Beam.

It may had been an ancient Dark Horror Kaiju either left behind in the past or brought before hand the relocation operation, since it appears from a mountain when the Generals awaken it and the Zelans have a functioning base in half a day of their arrival, but whether any of this was the case it is not explained.

_History_
After making a brief exploration of the now far larger Black Hole with a Rocket probe and following a massive planet wide Earthquake caused by the sudden shift of its axis, Darius comes to the conclusion they have 150 days before Planet Zela is devour by the Singularity, thus forcing their Plans of Invasion to come ahead. Dankell suggest to begin implementing Noah's Ark Plan in tangent with the invasion, as to begin moving the Zela civilian population as ship has been completed, which the Emperor agrees. Thus, among Zela Fauna, the first wave of civilians (Scientist, Doctors and Merchants) board the Noah Ship, are given human disguises in preparation for allocation – among them a Zelan Family: te idealistic Dr. San (Husband and Father) who wishes peaceful coexistence with the Earthlings, Helen (his wife) and their Children George and Karen.

The Vessel departs Zela and Warps with the Time and Space Transportation, the Grostestars vessels escorting them. As the ship enters Earth and flies over the clouds, its spotted by a Passenger Jumbo Jet, which is destroyed by the Generals to maintain the entry of the refugees as Secret, one of the many rash actions of the Captain – which later calls the attention of the Daiku Maryu, who departs to investigate the incident. San argues with the Captain who expresses no intent of Co-existing with Earthlings. The Noah ship then arrives at a small village near the Himalayan Mountains, where the Zelan Soldiers begin to shoot and round up the local Villagers, putting them away, while the Refugees move in. San wonders what become of the Villagers, getting another rebuke from the Captain.

Quick Note: a brief narration is given as the ship depart, explaining the Zelans did indeed caused the mythical biblical flood which Noah and his family survived on his Ark.

Later, the Daiku Maryu arrives and begin to investigate – Fan Li flies on the Skylar to the mountains, while Yamagatake and Bunta head to the Glaciers on the Bazolar, in the meantime, Sanshiro, Midori and Hachiro travel to the village of Noah for inquiry, where the first family they meet is San's, who befriend them and invite them into their home for snacks as Dr. San mends Hachiro's ankle, only for the three to be stunned and captured by the Captain and his crew, and taken to their base under their tower, where they are imprison with the original villagers, learning from the Captain San and his family were too Zelans. Not long after, fill with regret and still believing a future of peaceful co-existance, San tries to convince the Captain to let them go, but he gets shot by the former, though not fatally at first. The (ABSOLUTE BASTARD OF A) Captain informs the development to the Generals, who awaken the Gigantic Dark Horror Monster Mammoth Noa to attack the Daiku Maryu while Sanshiro is been held.

Mammoth Noa encounters the Bazolar and Skylar, pursuing the former before the Daiku Maryu arrives and save them, and the vessel begins to battle the Gigantic Beast; meanwhile the Zelans are moved back to the Noah ship for safety, when San tries to convince them to stop the fight, but now tired of him, the Captain shoots San fatally in front of his family as they are been taken away. In the prison below, a villager tries to take down the bars, but is repelled by a fatal shock, burning him; a wounded San appears and let's go of the villagers, warning Sanshiro of the battle above; Sanshiro leaves him in the care of Midori and Hachiro, while he take San's jeep and drives back to the Daiku Maryu, though the monster attempts to, but fails, to crush the hero; Sanshiro makes it to the ship and the Gaiking is launch and assemble, taking the monster in combat.

The Battle is very brief between them, but it results bring terrible consequences; After failing to cut it with Counter Cross and been repelled by its Wind Gust, Sanshiro uses Saur Geyser, destroying the Machinery Room of the Mammoth Noa, making it go wild while beginning to overheat, heading straight to the Noah Ship; the Zelans try to escape but the ship is shutdown by the Monster's Red eye Beam, crashing into the Mountains with all on board, including San's Family. Afterward, Mammoth Noa explodes, the extreme heat release melts the surrounding Glacier, becoming a raging flood, which is heading to the Village. The Daiku Maryu takes the entire population and livestock on board right in the nick of time – including San – before the Flood destroys the village, but the vessel emerges from the catastrophe unscathed, much to the shock of the Generals, Dankell viewing it as a Modern Noah's Ark.

In his death bed, San expresses to be glad to have met them, and begs them to look after his fellow Zelans, before passing away (We must assume Sanshiro did not informed him of what became of his fellow Zelans and Family? Oops!).
