Tecumseh is a male werewolf and a future character in the Mira Chronicles. The werewolves in the story have a Native American Indian culture and go by Native American names. Tecumseh is a Shawnee name that is native to Ohio. He is an alpha wolf and takes no nonsense from anyone. Only alphas are allowed to turn humans or earthwalkers into werewolves. The reason why they do this if many members in their tribe were killed off. Back in the 19th century, many werewolf hunters killed many lycanthropes so a spree of strong men and fertile women were "drafted" (bitten) to join the tribe (pack). More on this later.
