I meant to let Vayryn have her date with Corwyn this chapter, but work got in the way. Isn't that always how it is? Vayryn has a heck of a time at UniTech during her "on-site observation". At least she got a nice lunch to tide her over? And a little yingnap, even if it got cut short?
Also, wow, the longest Vayryn chapter I've written yet, by 1001 words. Can't help it, stuff was big and there was a lot of talking to do. It's a busy, busy morning. ^_^;;
Hopefully we'll get date and clam antics next chapter. ^_~

Wowie, look at that, asshole being asshole. Who could have seen this coming ?
Also, Twitter ? Not even once. The rabids follower are rabids. Tough I can understand the enthusiam, Vayrin is pretty much the messiah of all furry combined, nevermind the Yinglet one. Reason and temperance have long since exited the premise, and you can bet that if more 'Zhat Zhing' are ever found they are gonna be fought over like water in a desert.

Reason and temperance have long since exited the premise, and you can bet that if more 'Zhat Zhing' are ever found they are gonna be fought over like water in a desert.
She is constantly bombarded by people asking her how she got Zhat Zhing, where they can get one, who Za Bastard is so they can try to find him and ask for one... She's gotten to where she mostly ignores them, because it's tiring to try to argue with them.
She might end up on a talk show, and if she does, she'll probably make a public statement (especially if confronted about the benefits she's gotten, like curing her medical problems) along the lines of, "I'm not saying zhat zhere is no life zhat wouldn't be improved by zhis, but it would be a painfully rare case. Zhe vast majority of people will be greatly harmed by going zhrough what I have."
As for more Zhose Zhings, well... Za Bastard is gonna get bored eventually, probably... ^_~

Well, I'm glad it's official that Vayren and Corwyn are dating. And it would be good to have people get the innitial reaction of "What is that?" in private via seeing Vayren on other media and away from her. And you already have the feeling of being the wrong species (at least the irl version of you, not sure about this one)
Yeah, but now Vayryn is a different wrong species. ...Though it's becoming less "wrong" over time, which is a little worrying, but also kinda nice. It'd be a while before she'd actually admit that out loud, it would diminish the Rage that keeps her sustained. ^_~
I plan that in a few months' time, the more common reaction a human has is "Oh neat, it's that yinglet thing I heard about!" Something of a local celebrity, eager to get pictures with instead of of, that kind of thing. They'll still be eager to talk and ask questions, but it'll be a different set of questions she constantly gets. Like, "Did it hurt?" and "What's it like doing [task]?" That's still plans for the future, the world isn't there yet. ^_^;;
