First I hope you can forgive one and only criticism. The texture you used for the collar, tongue, and nose looks a little odd when you see all three of them at once. Not sure if they're actually the same texture or just similar. That being said! It does still look really good on each location individually. And honestly it gives a enjoyable connectivity and draws my eyes between the three locations.
That out of the way. The out of focus blur on the end of the ear and hair is a nice touch to force the attention of the viewer towards the center/bottom of the piece. The lips/jowls are really well done, the multitone shading on the bulbus bit near the molars (sorry I don't actually know what to call those (-_-;) , and with the soft and sharp highlights along the edge really makes them POP! I personally enjoy how you used actual canine like molars. But i very much enjoy how you handled the saliva, the stingers are very noticeable especially near the front. But it's not overbearing or distracting. The extra detail of the one stringer in the front catching on the thumb is a nice perspective tool, helps me understand how close the little one is to the mouth. Lastly the frothy bubbles along the gum line looks really well done! The fact that you have them most abundant under the tongue and near the gullet helps give the impression of how a mouth usually is; dirtier the farther back you look (still a very pristine and clean looking mouth though, character must brush often!).
The last thing I want to comment on, is also a bit of a question. But the large character's expression, while being a wonderfully complex looking expression. I'm having a bit of a difficult time pinning it down. The mouth line doesn't look like a smile or a grimace, it's almost feels like a neutral expression or maybe with the dimple it's almost a "forced" neutral mouth expression. However the closed eyes and scrunched up brow line make me feel the large character is angry, irritated, or annoyed. Perhaps mad at the small character? Or not very happy about the action they are currently taking part in? Like resigned to eating the small character no matter how they feel about it, or perhaps indulging the little one's fantasy even if they're not comfortable with the situation themselves? Curious if I'm reading the expression correctly or if I just made a fool of myself?
I'm done now. Sorry for the long weird gush. Beautiful work non the less!!
