Did you know that, in the 60's, Boeing used ferrets to take wires through the small hard-to-reach parts of the fuselage during construction of new planes? They were very good at it, but it was a niche job and sometimes they would be known for making more work than necessary to ramp up costs; at least you knew your plane was in good paws.
