Leaving the Towering City TotT
Tools of the Trade, as an artist myself, when viewing others work I've often found myself wondering "hmmm I wonder what they used to do this...." whether it be a digital sketch/painting or traditional piece, I thought it might be fun to show off some of my tools of the trade from my latest.
top to bottom:
Moo Carve (which is technically a blank stamp, but they make really good -big- erasers.)
Copic Drawing Pen F01
Copic Multiliner SP 0.1
Copic Multiliner SP 0.03
Pentel Click eraser
Sanford TUFF STUFF click eraser
Alvin Techmatic T4 2mm Lead holder (Sanford Turquoise 2mm HB)
Alvin Techmatic delux MF6 2mm lead holder (Staedtler Lumograph Mars Carbon 2mm H)
I can't remember what type of knead-able rubber eraser this is, I think its a Staedtler.
and a cheap hard eraser I picked up last "Back-To-Skool" sale.

Oh oh! also, if you're using the drawing pen (i.e. the one that has a dip pen nib) make sure you check if it has anything caught in its tines, as paper pulp will build up in the tip as paper gets wet from the ink, if you catch it early enough a moistened paper towel will clear it up quick, otherwise rubbing alcohol will clear dried ink.
