ENG:
Another passerine for bird #4! I was expecting to draw another one of those, well, a lot of them actually, so this week lucky bird was this beautiful Weaver from Africa!

I was afraid the nest would be hard to paint, but actually not, i just had the right brushes to do the job, in the other had, I had the classic “lining in the wrong layer” problem with the female, and fixing a bit the wings as well, but at least I had it done for this week!

Description of Bird #4:
These birds have the particularity to build a woven with grass, oval nests, and are quite social. They live in western and central Africa, in mangroves, thickets, and swamps. This species present a heavy sexual dimorphism, where the male is more showy than the female. A mostly frugivorous bird, they also include some insects to their diet.

De vuelta, otro passeriforme! Ya me imaginaba que tenia que dibujar otro mas, o mas bien, varios, asi que esta semana toco dibujar este hermoso tejedor de Africa!

Pensaba que el nido iba a costar mucho dibujar, pero no fue tan asi, ya que tenia los pinceles justos para hacer el trabajo, pero por otra parte, tuve el clasico problema de “delinear en la capa equivocada” con la hembra, y tambien tuve que arreglar un poco las alas de esta, pero por lo menos pude terminar esta especie!

Descripcion del Ave #4:
Esta especie tiene la particularidad de tejer un nido ovalado con pastos, y son bastante gregarios. Viven en Africa occidental y en el centro de este continente, en manglares, matorrales y humedales. Esta especie presenta un evidente dimorfismo sexual, donde el macho es mas vistoso que la hembra. Un ave en mayoria frutivora, tambien incluye algunos insectos en su dieta.
