A 2022 MerMay commission from  Ageaus featuring Shen, the mertiger blacksmith of Poseidon!

Here we see Shen working on a hunting blade for a customer shaping it into the length as requested. Now I know what some of you are saying... 'how does one blacksmith underwater?!' the answer to that is simply; its magic. But the process is quite interesting as depending on the location; Blacksmith mers would use Fire Crystals, Volanic vent, or both with Ice Crystals to temper the blade. The metal they used are a special type for the mers as the metal would never rust or corrod in the waters and is very durable. Shen is a skilled Blacksmith, having been an apprentice to a Master Blacksmith before opening his own smith in Poseidon.
