I got confused by the tags at first and thought they were a couple. "A first meeting? What?" Kev's description mentions that she's a surrogate though, so all good.

Yep. Kevin saw her profile Picture and skills feeling like she would be a good fit as the navigator on his ship. If he had looked into the side jobs section she was doing he would have learned she’s currently on a surrogate job.
