I tend to draw the tree on the right, but upon looking at older works, I was dissatisfied and decided to do some studies. Absolutely not a normal occurrence for me as I tend to be content with my art and don't really pursue higher artistic goals.
Anyways, after some practice, I decided I don't mind the simple trees I draw as they fit with the simple art. A friend gave some advice upon seeing my studies, so perhaps there will be some change, but nothing major.
Figured I'd post this as sort of an archive of it. Used the Esterbrook Estie seen in the Carmen drawing as these were from the same drawing session.
