Rayner Morrison - Reference Sheet

Meet Rayner, coworker of Atticus for a few years now. Rayner is a brave, righteous man who served in the police for a few years. He was proud of his life back then: He had a beautiful wife, a young daughter and a good job as police officer. Everything was like in a picture book. But one tragedy struck after the other. First he lost his dear wife to an incurable illness, watching the love of his life suffer before she finally took her last breath. After she passed, he was alone with his little girl, whom he loved with all his might as a proud father. One day, she just... vanished. IHell broke loose when he realized that someone had kidnapped his daughter. The police did everything to find her and her kidnapper. They were successful, but too late - his daughter was already dead. He confronted the killer, who only laughed at him and provoked him by telling him what he had done to his precious princess before he killed her - and Rayner just snapped. He pulled the trigger and killed him. The police dovered up his actions, but he had to give up his badge. After that, he took quite some time to get back on his feet. And when he did, he found himself partnering up with Atticus, a competent and quite talented private investigator.
Since then they work together well, but things were always curious around Atticus, given that he was somewhat stalked by another cat that he called Jack. And that Jack also didnt really seem to like Rayner very much either. Oh well. Rayner doesnt mind too much and prefers to spend his time in the local country bar anyway...
HFFF aand my second detective is done! Well, to be fair, he was the first in the planning, but the second to be finished lol. Rayner may look angry on his refsheet, but he's a sweetheart, and he's taken~ Blame Zelendur for that x3
