Preview -No Rest for the Wicked
Here's a little sample of the comic I'm currently working on. No, it's not an entire page, but it's just a glimpse of one of my unfulfilled goals, haha.
Originally named "Flipside", the idea for this comic was originally brainstormed when I was about 15/16. The story, and characters had already been set but over the years but I've taken the time to rework and refine both. Over the course of 6 years, I've drafted and done several chapters, but never felt them ready to be publicly debuted. I've finally found the time and motivation to press further with the project and have already begun working on the first few chapters. I'm hoping to have it printed if enough people gain interest, and I'll be sharing the first 10 pages of the comic in the near future.
"No Rest for the Wicked" is set amidst the hustle and bustle of the city of Norfall, a city teeming with poverty, corruption, sin and crime. Venros, a young and somewhat naive teen, finds himself in the ranks of one of the most powerful crime syndicates after losing a loved one in the cross fire of a gang related turf war in an attempt to seek revenge for what was taken from him. He finds himself in moral dismay as he soon realizes he's been selected to enforce the law to the fullest extent...to the highest bidder. Will Venros allow his desire for revenge to overcome his gentle soul? Or will he give into the pressures of the sinful state of the city and allow it to erode his sense of virtue?
READ AND FIND OUT, I AIN'T TELLING YOU THE WHOLE THING.

Okay... In a way that's too much information too soon, based on what we can see here.
The basic story sounds alright, but it's better to show than tell. I'm curious, is the entire work going to be in "film Noir" Black, white and gray? Might lend things a more interesting look.
