TF commission from ~mossrats

Being transformed into a Minotaur on my family trip to Crete wasn’t exactly what I was expecting out of life.

I first fell down a hole while walking by myself near the ancient ruins, and as I was started to find my way out of the underground, I discovered this strange box with writing I didn’t recognize. I felt it call to me and as soon I picked it up I found myself transforming into a Minotaur.

At first I was shocked, but now I’m kind of happy with the result of my sudden change. I guess this will take some explaining when I find my family again, and my friends could find it odd that I’m no longer human, but with them all being fantasy nerds I think they’ll understand.

The governments a different matter though and getting back to U.S. could be complicated because of that. Not to mention the locals who could see me as some scary myth brought to life. However, I’m not the mindless beast from mythology, I’m still me, just a big buff cow man.

In any case, I should find my way out of here and hopefully it won’t take too long to find it. This cave is big though and I think I see more signs of the civilization that the box came from not to far from where I am. I can actually see buildings looking like they were carved out of stone, more writing which I think I can read now, but it doesn’t seem helpful, and mosaics with many more Minotaurs living in a society.

I should go, but one last tidbit is that I can read the box’s inscription now and it says “the soul of a mighty Minotaur sleeps in here, and if one breaks their seal they will gain their strength.” So, I guess, I gained “their strength”, and much more, but it doesn’t matter now, what’s done is done.
