It weird, I cannot bear the awkward miscommunication in movies, but it much easier to deal with in fiction. I hope it goes well for the man. I kind of want to see the dragon find out the truth but it not ending worst than the dragon becoming a bit more yandere but not more long term yandere than the guy can stand.
I am glad and excited to hear that, I hope the relationship ends stronger, but does that not mean there cannot be some fear(play), collateral damage and over possessiveness along the way.

Now I am thinking of a brazzel story where the dragon eats a servant she is tsundere for, threatening him with digestion and another servant he has a crush on. Maybe it ends up like that but the dragons coughs up both instead of one.
