Maybe I'm just crazy, but wouldn't it come out through a tailhole in the cloth? It looks like ye pulled it through the other leg hole. Don't mind me though, because i'm a tad loopy at the moment. Stupid cold >.>....

Depends on the angle you're looking at. The gathers around the tail hole are obscured by the bulkiness of the diaper. If the picture was taken a little bit further toward the back of him, you would see where the tail exits, but not here. Its the way he has his right leg positioned that hides it.
