Truth is before the invasion this was a despotic corrupt regime that was playing footsy with bio weapons and human rights violations. Then came another evil force and wiped half the place out. I'm not exactly mourning their loss. In particular during the whole freedom convoy thing when Canada said they were going to round up protestors pets and kill them. Ukraine actually backed that becuase they didn't like the protest eating up all the attention. After that and their bio weapons labs getting raided I realized nothing of value will be lost in this war. Unless a line is crossed and nukes are used in which case the west will finally have the global war it wants. What happens then humanity richly deserves either way. Then at worse we'll all pay for our sins. Which is ok.

You realize those labs were functioning for the better part of the 1990s? They weren't cleaning anything up. In fact the us panicked if you recall. First they denied the labs existed then they said they weren't bio weapons labs now that lame excuse that they were not in operation and that they were just about to shut down. And it looks like Russia and China are going to crush said system and fellow woke countries into dust. So much for eating the bugs and living in cages.

Nobody said any of this is peaceful, just necessary when an aggressor thinks they can upset the world order in modern times, take anything they want and use the weapon of threatening to use nukes should they lose. Nuclear weapons did not bring the French victory in Algeria, nor did they preserve the British Empire, the Soviet Union lost its war in Afghanistan, we lost in Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan. Israel failed to win in Lebanon. Nuclear powers lose wars fairly often. Some Russian commentators say Russians will have to use nuclear weapons to head off defeat. But Russia has been defeated in Ukraine, on its own terms, again and again.

It also hurts me when I see some stupid westerners defend Putin like the ones u had to argue with, how did those people even finish school? Russia claims to defend donbas but donbas before Russian occupation was one of the most prosperous Ukrainian regions, Donetsk, its heart has been a very prosperous city too with people like Beyonce performing there, now its literally Stalker 2 without water, yes, Russia can't provide water to a region they've been occupying for 11 years. If u wonder who performs in Donetsk now its usually stupid sellout unknown outside of Russia Z artists, sometimes.

Thank you too for supporting Ukraine, I have some relatives living there and I do worry about them, Russia is merciless about bombings, I once heard Russia drone striked a children's hospital in Kiyv killing like 2 people, and that is unforgiveable. I heard bombings in my city too but those were Ukraine bombing actual military targets rather than buildings where people live.
