I just wanted to post something to show you guys that I am still around and working, but just have been doing more doodles and design sketches than actual finished images. These are sketches for fun of my friend Synsulisarian, messing around with anatomy, scale pattern, and general proportion. Enjoy! : )

A good amount more thought has gone into this than usual, including scale patterns on the face - I am having quite a lot of fun pressing my anatomical boundaries in such subtle ways by incorporating what I've learned so far in Comparative Anatomy and my Vertebrate books. I am so hooked! ^^ Of course there are inconsistencies and things that might not work, but I'm having fun here - this is how I best learn!

This body type is a bit different from my typical proportions, and I am experimenting with an expanded 'keel' at the front of the chest for muscle attachment is definitely something new for me.
