Product of a now long gone underground breeding circle, Hata is a small rathalos with soft, pastel scales. Only an egg at the time of the Hunter's Guild's bust,he was kept and entrusted to a research commission to be raised and eventually release. Once it was discovered that he wasn't going to get much larger than the typical rathalos youth, it was decided that he would be kept as a sort of mascot for the Commission.
