a bit of art study, a character from 2kinds that Tom Fishbach has copyrights to, but i do like his expressions, it was a great study for cloth flow, and expression, he's good at doing calm, or sullen expressions, instead of the ever present giddy, happy go lucky shades... that and I'm very happy with my pencil shading, the only digital editing I did was some brightness/contrast, and I bit of burning out some of the mid tones. the rest is my paw.

aye, there's one little thing missing.
(whisper whisper) it's a copy, I am great at drawing from observation.
no, not tracing. just mimicing.
when it comes to actual drawing, even with my glut of art classes...I'm still only as good as say a dysgraphic ninja golden retriever. doggy, you're still better than me at drawing.
so, basically, the skill is there, the ability to lay lead to paper, the training to make my own lines....still in the works.
