Well, that depends on what you like to draw.
If you like cartoony stuff like me, then I guess it would help to try something out yourself, and get inspiration from other cartoons on tv or the internet.
If you like detailed stuff though, I'd suggest to look up something on the net, and try to draw it over on a blank sheet of paper. Try to do the outlines first, and if that worked out focus on the inner bits.
