Stuff Rathy Hates - Samurai Western
Oh look, another Atlus flop... ;-; I dont even have to say anything, its in the title 8I I dont want a samurai western game >8I Samurai and cowboys? Ok, fine. But ugh, execution of most the elements of this game are sloppy and the combat gets repetitive real fast. Thats bad for any type of samurai game. Plus the story is vag.

It is the weakest by far in the "Way of The Samurai" series (it was supposed to be a side story in the series' already temporally unsound canon) and most of what rath said is correct. I had more fun with it, than others it seems, but I'm also in no hurry to pick it back up again.
Played it years ago, I really enjoyed it. The story and characters from what I can remember, they were way out there, I can see why peeps may not like that but I like whacky kinda things. Have a lot more enjoyment to em then super serious blah blah.
The Samurai vs Cowboys things isn't anything too new. A good few westerns are Japanese films redone, so I found it ok when they actualy mixed the two for this game.
I won't defend it's gameplay, it was a lil clunky but at least still playable.
