The objective: Create a ballgown for the pregnant Jennifer to wear to the ball.
I'd like to think I accomplished my objective.
The gown is designed with loose layers instead of one layer that folds over her belly. The fabric is light so that despite it laying over her stomach it isn't uncomfortably heavy.
The layers aren't meant to hide the belly, just keep it comfortable :heart:
He had originally wanted me to just give her a pretty dress because she was pregnant a ballgown wouldn't work, but I jumped at the chance to design a new dress for a pregnant woman to wear.
Why?
Because every pregnant woman I've known, met, talked to, etc, goes on and on about how pregnancy makes them look ugly or fat.. well girls, I disagree.
Pregnancy can look beautiful too.
