One character I debated bringing back, albeit in an early simpler design, is Jo! Previously a streamer, she was transformed by a VRRPG, becoming a boss kitsune demon in a high level dungeon. Maybe she gets freed somehow, but loses most of her boss perks in the process?

Unpopular opinion, quite litterally since it wasn't what the majorited had voted for :
Wouldn't say I didn't liked the arts, surelly not, but than how cool Jo-Go's design started, the votes later made it a 180° by leaning more and more toward a "girly nature mommy". (but hey ,that as a vote pool, beggars can't be choosers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
And damn I like this continuation of Jo-go initial design there !

Why she couldn't keep her boss perk? :) What are they anyway? Wearing Epic rarity lvl 200 Shirt of the gamergirl?

Not unpopular, I felt quite conflicted about overruling the votes to rewrite Jo a bit. But I gotta be enthusiastic about a character to draw it, and honestly I couldn't even tell you what all of boss Jos abilities were off the top of my head.
(Plus I've already got a giant plant girl I never draw....).
