Strype had a similar epiphany. On a dare in 2018, she drew herself as a synth tiger, but instead of the "M-Frame" she drew the "F-Frame".

And it started to click with her.

About 5 years later, she's much happier.

I'd love to try VR at some point for precisely this reason. I'm glad it contributed to your self discovery, though. :)

I just got sad when messing with VR... I had a nice quadruped gryphon rig and I loved it. I realized I was getting frustrated at not being able to move/use all limbs directly.

Then sad that with the headset off, my wings weren't there anymore.
