Arriving at yet another new universe, Grilae-Faith decided to visit this reality's version of Earth first. To be truthful, Grilae-Faith has never seen the Thordonian Empire's Earth before, let alone any other version of the birthing world. Over all these centuries, the Thordonians have still kept the love for their beloved rock engrained in their minds, even though most of them during this age have never seen it before personally.
Grilae-Faith brought it upon himself to break the trend that his source brothers failed to do before him and took himself undetected into orbit around her.
He gazed his visible light sensors at the great blue orb, to see it as his ancestral brothers did so long ago.
He cried inside. He had the memories, the feeling. The image of her majesty broke his cold mechanical screen and brought back the world that some version of himself once new. He remembered them, his parents, their love. His one sibling, and the times they enjoyed together.
All lost.
He collapsed within his virtual world, but retained his sight of the planet he once knew, the only world he once knew.
The tears streamed down his face and he wailed with the sudden explosion of emotion and sorrow. All this time the Thordonians kept it bottled up inside them, even those residing on the home world itself. So Grilae-Faith did himself the favor to embrace these memories, to mourn for all the centuries that they pushed these feelings back.
He cried for the next several days before finally returning his field of suppression and quietly departing. He planned on never visiting another Earth again for as long as his processor existed.
