Rivet’s name was officially revealed on Lesbian Visibility Week (the 26th of April). This fact proves Sam's words about Rivet

that has nothing to do with it, they only revealed it that day because playstation scheduled a state of play for that day, also she doesn't show any interest towards the girls in the game. she shows more chemistry with Ratchet than the girls and also insomniac games never confirmed that and any dev supported that tweeet, they ignored her and a last thing to prove that is sam maggs said her work was deleted and that's true because she is not the lead writer and nothing about rift apart, the real lead writer is a girl called lauren mee and she and IG haven´t said anything about it or support that because IS FALSE, ¡¡THAT'S NOT CANON!!

You can still find Sam Maggs in the end credits. So it's untrue to say that her work was "erased" since her contribution was mentioned by Insomniac themselves.

Also I am sure Rivet recalled Angela the same way Ratchet was thinking about Talwyn (his official girlfriend). All these facts give me idea that Rivet and Ratchet are just friends and developers will keep them that way. Remember: it doesn't mean people can't love Rivchet through fanarts and fanfics as I do
