For those who don't understand what adventure mode is I'll explain now.
the 1player portion of the game will be separated into an RPG side, such as the overworld, and real time sections, like legend of Zelda dungeons. The Da'karian desert is one example of this real time section, also known as adventure mode. As the game progresses you will toggle between the two sections.

Hmm...looks interesting. I'm interested in seeing how the vore mechanics work in this mode, as I've actually seen a vore game (alpha build level) using such an "adventure mode" setup for its entirety. When the vore character devoured something, they couldn't move or attack until the prey was digested. The lore of Vorefable is set up a lot different though, which is what has me interested on how you're handling it. I can't say I've seen a game with both turn based and real time battles very often, as they are two very different stuctures. Dang it, you're just making me even more eager for the next release, especially if a taste of this "adventure mode" sequence is in it. I think it'll be quite interesting to see how the character's stats, skills, and party setup interact with the two different combat styles. It just sounds like a nightmare of programming and game balance to me to get everything to play nicely.
Hey, I thought that the Anihilator (misspelled that btw, it's annihilator) was a boss (hence checkpoints, an attack that deals massive damage, etc, and the mere fact that I had to use 12 pots on it). Anyways, regarding the adventure mode, I have beaten this large and majestic beast multiple times (2nd time it devoured me every round. :3) and every time it crashes as soon as I deal the finishing blow.
