A month or two ago, Ken's player Winter and I played and beat the SNES game Pocky and Rocky, a favorite of mine from my childhood. It's a tough (but great) game, one I couldn't ever beat with my brothers. It was even one of the few games my dad and I played together, and we spent a full afternoon wiping against the final level. Feels good to finally crush it!
In honor of our victory and saving the Nopino Goblins from the sinister Black Mantle, I drew our characters in the player select screen. You can see the original image I used as a reference here!
Props to Winter for letting me draw Ken in a skirt. He'll make for a great Shrine Maiden... or whatever the male equivalent of a maiden is.
And yes, we will be playing the sequel soon!
