I'm watching you, staring through you, looking for those little things that tell the world what makes you tick. Or is that just the way you perceive me? Imagination is a wonderful thing, you know. And that's the very thing that makes life such an enriching experience. Let it take you to the right places, and you'll never want it to stop. This is, after all, part of the reason why so many stand alone publications develop into longer series. Being with someone can be an addiction, and so can the worlds others create.
I know what you're thinking as you meet my eyes now, and it's something I'm well aware of - the reputation tigers have in some circles. Just as skunks are famous for their ability to spray, just as cassowaries are known for their aggression, and just as dragons are noticed for their fire breathing regardless of whether they actually can, so tigers have come to be known as fearsome beasts just looking for a chance to snatch their next prey.
It is a bit trite, isn't it, even if you do hear about it on the news every once in a while? Each species' quirks are buried within all of us, after all. And I have met some creatures who, by choice or by accident, have ended up befitting these stereotypes.
What's that? Do I think you look tasty? Whether I do isn't important. What is important is that there is always fertile ground for any aspiring creator looking for the right way to shape their ideas. There's no need to be afraid - I've got something more in mind than catching prey. Now, let me take you under my wing and show you the world I've created.
I'd almost forgotten about entering this raffle completely before I was informed about this beautiful picture made by the great
Bat-of-Blazes. It's been some time since the last time I got Gemma drawn, and I couldn't be happier with the result. 💙
