Zeydaan had a poor experience trying to emulate on their new computer- particularly getting some old TF2 mods working. Unwittingly inflicting themselves with a strange curse.
They wouldn't be aware of what was happening to them every night, and the slow progression of the curse- only hearing about the strange string of nightly fires in their hometown. Until waking up one morning finding their hands as large, puffy rubber gloves. That night, they'd be aware of the changes, as soon as the moon hit them, their entire body would writhe-
Changing into hard and thick rubber, swelling up large beyond their control. They couldn't even call for help, their new boots and larger frame sending them to the ground, mouth sealed into a heavy gas mask- only pained huffs heard as their body would swell out of control before becoming very still.
Zeydaan would be gone, locked into a hazy fuzzy dream with unicorns and rainbows as the werepyro would take control.

The face turns into a gasmask, with the filter coming out of the mouth? Reminds me of the Empty Child from Dr Who.
I think my obsession with that started with that episode.
