Googoyles are INCREDIBLY VAIN! So while it can use any inanimate object as a body, if it's a bad/ugly host (ie, a blender) then it would have to find a suitable one with a real body that it could use.

googoyles are very vain and thats why they dont pick just any inanimate object

it has to be one that's made very well with artisian care

like they love the arts too so theyre enamored with good craftsmanship

it's also why monstrous ones are rare bc people dont make monuments like they used to (ie egyptian sphinx)
so those ones dont have to be limited to earth monuments you can make up some alien species

Hominid googoyles behave most like humans / civilized societies to fit in with the crowd rather than serve as their guard dogs. Many unique personality types are among these.

Monstrous individuals exude mystery and wisdom. They may be found protecting historical sites or places of knowledge like libraries.
