Although seldom is known of this species there can be one such certainty: this species is fast as it is dangerous. During routine facility maintenance ( division 19 ) a local designated ritneer employee had the dreadful misfortune of coming into contact with such a shreem. Incident log 47 has been recorded as the first actual contact with the Nicking Neemer with the result of a deceased resercher to bear while less than four have been succesfully captured and studied alive. The anatomy of the Neemer is rather compact as it's relative size is only that of four feet at maturity. This species was noted to be devoid of horns however instead protruding from it's skull were a series of elastic tubing, completley organic of course. Lining the tips of these tubes were various thorn like tips. Upon further examination it was found these tips forcefully splintered skin and began to extract blood. It was later confirmed this indeed was the Shreem's main source of survival. Nicking Neemers are highly dangerous and predatory showing pure instinct to naturally stalk whatever prey it can and consume it's blood. If in a vacinity of a Nicking Neemer it is considered best to remain still and silent due to their often poor eye sight.
