Phase Panthers are found in the ethereal plane and are incredibly intelligent. They occasionally work and trade with the Æthieer. Their spiked tail tip houses a very strong paralyzing venom that can very quickly subdue their prey or their enemy. They have the ability to see about 5 to 10 seconds into the possible future making hunting very successful. Phase panthers are also rare in their ability to see the material plane and the ethereal plane at the same time. They are capable of jumping between those planes quite easily and are capable of being on both planes at one time. This can give them a slight translucent appearance. It is also not unheard of to see one move out of the way of something or someone that may not be visible to someone that only exists on one plane.

They are all capable of reading and speaking common as well as their own language. The entire pride takes part in raising the next generation of phase panthers and it is the females that choose their potential partner. The male can either accept or fight if they do not like the female that choose them. Same gender matches aren’t unheard of and the pair usually adopt any children that become orphaned. They can choose whether to mate for life or have a one time fling. Either way, both parents take care of the resulting offspring along with the rest of the pride. Family is very important to them. They are functionally immortal unless they receive fatal injuries.


Sorrow here is the speaker for their pride and has become good friends with Artemis. They are quite skilled in hunting, fighting, and leading their pride.

Sorrow was originally born with a different name. However after losing their mate of over five centuries, they changed their name and have not gone after another mate since.
