I saw that I had the song 'Together in Electric Dreams' by Giorgio Moroder and Phil Oakley sitting on my desktop, and after a few minutes I thought of a story to go with the title.

This is about an aging cybernetic being whose body is reaching the end of its useful life, even though his mind is still good, and decides that he wants to rejoin his mate in whatever afterlife exists.

This isn't one of my best efforts, and it seems a little forced, but I wanted to write something short, so here it is.
