Depends on intent. If it was just a friend being playful, he'd muss up their fur too. Or feathers...scales...whatever. If it was aggressive, he'd ask them if they were picking a fight, then challenge them to a school-sanctioned battle. He's not super laid-back, but his family is paying a lot of money for him to go to school and he's not going to fuck it up over a petty argument.
